THE SONS OF THUNDER

The Sons of Thunder is a ministry to all men age 13 and older.

We are here to grow in wisdom and knowledge.  We believe that God the Holy Spirit is here to empower us to become the men that he has created us to be.  Men of dignity, integrity, loyalty, and faithful Character. The ideas in themselves are bigger than any individual or organization, but by trying to integrate them in our daily lives we can succeed, and over come our weakness of original sin. The three things that are most important to the Sons Thunder in our lives are obedience, prayer, and good examples.

1.)    Obedience in that we come and participate in church.

a.)    Mass, ( Ministries)

b.)    Men’s Son’s of Thunder meetings

c.)    All seasonal events.

d.)   To truth in God’s Word and studying the word.

1.) Asking the priests and anyone in authority questions.

      2.) Prayer

               a.) In your prayer Closet. (You should have a prayer list.)

                    1.) Thinking prayer is just that, you must use your voice in              

                          Praise, conversation, and song.

                b.) In The Sons of Thunder meetings, and any other settings in church,

                     Home, and so on. (Leading your family in prayer)

                c.) At Church in mass as specified in scripture/ God’s word where

                     we as a community can come together to fellowship with God.

3.)     Good Examples: Being Holy, in that we set ourselves apart from the    

World, even though we live in this world. Our kingdom is the kingdom to come with Jesus who will be president, prime minister, and most important our King Forever.

a.)    As men being their for each other.

b.)    Helping in any situation a brother needs help in prayer and so forth in any worldly need, and that of the physical church, and church community.

c.)    You as the head of your family as its warrior priests.

1.)    Priests go before the Lord representing that family.

2.)    The Warrior is that he fights and protects the family.

As you can see this is an organization in brotherhood. Its primary devotion is to our God, King, and Creator, (Savior) Jesus whom without we are drums and cymbals making noise, but have not Love. With Love whom is our Living God Jesus we become Love and live by his side where true peace and harmony exist. This is a Men’s group.
