Holy Spirit Cathedral uses the common Lectionary and St. Joseph's Edition of the NAB for worship and study because they are recognized for good biblical scholarship.  Additionally, it is important that the common Lectionary is used because a variety of Christian churches employ it in worship thus strengthening our shared experience of the Word of God.
