Daily Prayer
A friend
of mine said all I have to do is to invite you
into my life. For me to ask you to come into my
life, that by doing so I would be so much
happier and fulfilled. He said that knowing you
opens up a new dimension, a spiritual dimension
that will help to complete my life.
He said
that the happiness known from knowing you was
the best, a progressive happiness that with each
step you take towards God that God in turn
rushes towards the person calling upon him.
My friend
also said that the spirit of the Lord is
everywhere.
But I've
never experienced it, I don't know how to pray.
I haven't a
clue how to begin. I was too scared to pray with
my friend when he asked.
So, now
that I'm alone, if your out there, if your
listening, I'm asking now. Dear Jesus, please
come into my life, come into my home, walk with
me, talk with me, be my companion, my help, my
friend, my love, help me to see you, to
understand what my friend was talking about,
show me, as my friend said, how life is so much
better with you than without you.
Here I am
Jesus I'm offering you this invitation. Please
let me know you. I pray this in your name -
Jesus Christ. Amen.
It's
written, knock and the door shall be opened, ask
and it shall be answered.
The
promises of the Lord are forever.

to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
